Meet the Brown’s
Tempo began as something simple: a dream Carly and Evan Brown had for their four daughters — Weslie, Frankie, and twins Tommie and Lettie. They wanted a space where their girls could be creative, make friends, and feel proud of trying something new. A space that felt joyful, not pressured. Honest, not flashy. Rooted in connection.
As longtime locals, the Browns believe in the power of the arts to build community — especially in a growing town like Collingwood, where creativity and possibility are everywhere. Carly, who has taught dance for over 15 years, brings energy, warmth, and a love for teaching that kids instantly feel. Evan is the behind-the-scenes steady hand, helping the studio run with care and intention.
Tempo is just beginning — but the hope is big: to create a welcoming place where kids can move, create, and express themselves freely. A place where effort matters more than perfection, and where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
We’re so excited to open our doors and share this space with families in Collingwood. We hope you’ll feel right at home.
